Located in the heart of northern Vietnam’s key industrial corridor, SOTEK’s Tien Son High-Voltage Manufacturing Hub spans 18,500 square meters of state-of-the-art production space. Designed to deliver superior manufacturing precision, high throughput, and strict quality control, the facility produces oil-immersed, cast resin dry-type, and padmount transformers up to 21,000 kVA and 40.5 kV voltage class.

1. Advanced Automated Production Machinery
- CNC Step-Lap Core Cutting Lines: High-speed automated slitting and cutting machinery produces high-precision step-lap mitered core laminations from prime CRGO silicon steel, minimizing air-gap reluctance, core loss, and excitation noise.
- Automatic Foil & Wire Winding Machines: Computer-controlled low-voltage foil winding machines with integrated edge-deburing and automated tension control ensure tight, uniform windings capable of withstanding severe short-circuit radial expansion forces.
- Vacuum Drying & Pressure Impregnation (VPI): Large-capacity vacuum drying chambers remove all residual moisture from assembled active parts prior to oil filling under a closed vacuum system.
- Automated Epoxy Resin Vacuum Casting: Cleanroom casting chambers mix epoxy resin, quartz filler, and hardeners under high vacuum ($< 1 ext{ mbar}$), ensuring bubble-free encapsulation with partial discharge levels below 10 pC.
2. ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Laboratory (VILAS 1183)
The Tien Son facility houses SOTEK’s flagship testing and calibration laboratory, fully accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 (Code: VILAS 1183). Equipped with precision high-voltage test sets, lightning impulse generators up to 250 kV, and computerized loss measurement systems, every transformer leaving the factory floor is backed by third-party verified test certificates.
